This model, an LF 16 based on a Mercedes-Benz 1017, was built by me in 1987. At that time, Revell always sent me their upcoming innovations in the truck and fire brigade sectors based on my construction reports in Modell Magazin. I should then test these and if something doesn’t fit, inform Revell. Of course I built the models according to the prototypes, like this LF 16 from the Hagen fire department in 1:24 scale.
